Foot Locker Hall of Fame welcomes three inductees

Emily Sisson, Doug Todd and Rich Jayne were inducted Friday into the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships Hall of Fame at the Hotel del Coronado on the eve of the 39th annual meet in San Diego.

Sisson competed all four of her high school seasons at the Foot Locker final, representing Parkway Central MO (2008-09), Millard North NE (2007) and Marian NE (2006), placing third as a freshman and senior.

She went on to become a three-time NCAA Division 1 champion and an 11-time All-American at Providence and won a pair of U.S. Junior Outdoor titles.

Sisson, a New Balance professional, won the 2016 USATF 10-kilometer title on the roads, in addition to placing ninth in the 10,000-meter final on the track at the IAAF World Outdoor Championships in August in London.

Todd, the Foot Locker West Regional director, celebrated the 20th year of the regional meet at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. The West has crowned seven individual girls champions and three boys national winners in the past two decades.

Todd also guided Mt. SAC to its ninth California Community College Athletic Association women's cross country state title Nov. 18, including the fifth in his tenure. Mt. SAC has won 14 CCCAA state championships in cross country and track and field under Todd's direction.

In addition to being the Webcast producer for the national championship meet, Jayne has been responsible for the highlight video that has been shown the past two decades at the Foot Locker awards ceremony.
