Cathedral Catholic CA senior Joaquin Martinez de Pinillos finished 29th in the boys national at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships, clocking 16:15.7 on the 5-kilometer course at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif. Martinez de Pinillos became the first male athlete from San Diego since 2011 to compete at the national final on his home course.
