Local runner Jimmy Clark placed 7th in today’s Foot Locker National Cross Country Meet. Jimmy was the South Regional Champion and came into today’s race hoping to finisher better than 10th, the place his friend and future Florida teammate Matt Mizereck finished at the 2009 championship race. Jimmy ran a time of 15:24 which was good enough to earn him 2nd Team All American. Jimmy was joined by Floridians Ryan Pickering (9th) and Elliott Clemente (25th) on the boys side, and Kathryn Fluehr (23rd), Erika Fluehr (27th) and Shelby Davidson (33rd) on the girls side. This was Jimmy’s last cross country race of his high school career, but he still has a season of track left. If you see Jimmy make sure to congratulate him on an amazing accomplishment.
