Ryan Pickering ALL-AMERICANPublished by
John I Leonard runner, Ryan Pickering, placed 9th in the 2010 Foot Locker Cross Country National Meet. Ryan ran a time of 15:24 which helped him to earn a spot as an All-American. Ryan's place puts him as one of the top Florida boys to ever run the race. Ryan was joined by Floridians Jimmy Clark (7th) and Elliott Clemente (25th) on the boys side, and Kathryn Fluehr (23rd), Erika Fluehr (27th) and Shelby Davidson (33rd) on the girls side. Foot Locker was Ryan's last cross country race as a high school student, besides trying to decide on which college he wants to attend next fall he will be focusing most of his attention on getting faster on the track. Coming off of a stellar cross season Ryan looks to be one of the top runners in the country on track also. If you see Ryan make sure to congratulate him and also wish him luck on this upcoming season. Make sure to check out Distancepreps.com for race footage and post-race interviews. More news |
