Libby Dowty, a sophomore at Indian Creek High in Indiana, finished 19th place in the 5-kilometer girls championship race in 18:17.5 at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif. Dowty was one of six female athletes in the country to finish in the top 20 this season at both the Foot Locker national final and Nike Cross Nationals, including one of two sophomores.
